OIC chief condemns terrorist attack targeting military personnel in Turkey

JEDDAH, (ًٌٌٰآٹ+APP/IINA) – Secretary General of the Organization of
Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist attack that targeted a bus carrying off-duty military personnel in the central Turkish city of Kayseri on Saturday, leading to the death of at least 13 military officers and injury of dozens more others.
The secretary general offered his condolences to the government of Turkey and to the families of the victims and wished the wounded fast recovery.
Al-Othaimeen reaffirmed OIC’s principled position against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and expressed support for Turkey’s efforts in its war against terrorism.
He called again for concerted collective international efforts to defeat the scourge of terrorism.
