Pak-Saudi ties based upon strong bonds of brotherhood: analysts

ISLAMABAD, Mar 13 (APP): A number of political leaders and
analysts said that current visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan
and the Chief of Army Staff to Saudi Arabia would further cement
ties between the brotherly countries.
In a programme aired by the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation
(PBC), Barrister Daniyal Chaudhry, a leader of PML-N, said that
Saudi Arabia always supported Pakistan through thick and thin.
“We enjoy a very good relationship since the independence of
Pakistan. Saudi Arabia wants to see Pakistan as an economically
stable state.”
B.A Malik, a former ambassador, said that Pakistan and Saudi
Arabia relationship had great importance in the region.
The military exercises named ‘North Thunder, in Saudi Arabia
would further enhance the relationship, he added
Fauzia Nasreen, another former ambassador, opined that the
recent concluded visit of the Prime Minister and the COAS enhanced
the bilateral ties between Pakistan and the Middle East countries.
It would increase the unity among the countries which also
sent a strong message that Muslims were united against the menace of
terrorism.
Dr. Khurram, an analyst, said Pakistan played an important and
vital role in reducing the tension between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
