‘Shopian killings India’s Republic Day gift for Kashmiris’

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):Hurriyat leaders and organizations in Indian Occupied Kashmir have strongly condemned the killing of three youth including a teenage boy, and injuries to two women by Indian troops at Chaigund in Shopian district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth including17-year-old boy, identified as Shakir Ahmad Mir, were martyred by troops during a siege and search operation in Chaigund area of the district, last night.
The illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza in a statement condemning the killing of Shakir Ahmad Mir and injuries to two women Sabreena Jan and Sumi Jan said that people were getting killed mercilessly on daily basis.
Hurriyat leader Javaid Ahmad Mir that peaceful protests against worst human rights violations by Indian forces were being answered with bullets.
Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Umer Adil Dar termed the killings as the Republic Day gift from India to the people of Kashmir.
Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement while paying tributes to martyrs said that said that India would achieve nothing by its policy of suppression and oppression in Kashmir.
