SOUTH WAZIRISTAN AGENCY, June 5 (APP): Six abducted employees of an Oil
and Gas Company were safely recovered from Pak-Afghan border here on Monday.
According to Political Agent South Waziristan Agency, Zafarul Islam, all
the six abducted officials were released by the kidnapers as good-well gesture in respect of holy month of Ramzanul Mubarak and were handed over near Pak-Afghan border in a safe condition.
The Political Agent said after preliminary investigation, the released
employees have been moved to their homes under tight security arrangements of Waziristan Levy and Khasadar Force.
On November 6, 2016, unknown kidnappers had abducted six employees, who
were working for search of oil and gas between the mountains of DI Khan and Zohb districts and shifted them to undisclosed location.
The efforts of political administration and local tribal elders were
proved successful following the release of the employees.
