Tokyo stocks close higher
Tokyo, (MILLAT ONLINE):Tokyo stocks jumped on Friday after Wall Street rallied and tensions over North Korea eased, with investors on the sidelines ahead of a holiday weekend overseas.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index rose 1.40 percent or 295.22 points to 21,454.30 while the broader Topix index was up 0.72 percent or 12.30 points at 1,716.30.
