Two cops injured in attack by villagers during raid

HYDERABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP): In a police raid repulsed by dozens people
in village Usman Panhwar, 2 policemen were injured and the police
mobiles came under gunfire.
The police spokesman Mazhar Shani informed that the incident happened
in a village near the SITE area here Friday night.
The spokesman told that the raid was carried out jointly by the A
Section and SITE police stations on a tip off that the wanted suspects
Ayaz Panhwar , Dawood Panhwar and Naveed Panhwar were present in the
village.
“When the police reached the village dozens of people pelted the
policemen with stones and the policemen were assaulted with wooden
sticks,” the spokesman told.
According to him, 2 policemen sustained injuries in the clash and were
shifted to the Civil Hospital.
He said the police have identified over half a dozen men and women who
were among 25 to 30 people who attached the police.
He told that the wanted people some took advantage of the clash and
escaped from the village.
The police contingents were later called to the village where a search
was being carried out to art the suspects.
