World urged to facilitate Pak-India peace talks

ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP): Hurriyet leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum (JKSPF), Advocate Devinder Singh, has urged theinternational community to come forward to facilitate peace talks betweenPakistan and India. According to KMS, Devinder Singh in a statement issued in Jammu said that for last three and half months over 100 innocent people had been killed, more than 15,000 injured and thousands were arrested by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir. He also deplored that the jail authorities were treating political prisoners as criminals and were not providing them proper food and medical care. He appealed to the world community and international human rightsorganizations including Amnesty International and Asia Watch to come forward and save the lives of innocent Kashmiris. He also demanded release of all illegally detained Hurriyet leaders and activists including APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mohammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmad Shah and Zafar Akbar Butt without any further delay.
