126 Pakistani students arrives China to learn Chinese language

Beijing, 24 Oct (APP): As many as 126 students from Pakistan have arrived China for two-year programme to learn Chinese language on fully funded scholarships by Chief Minister Punjab Scheme. This is the second batch of the students in a year and out of them, 39 selected students will learn Chinese language in Beijing Language and Culture University of Beijing, 47 in a prominent university of Shanghai and 40 in University of Yanshan. Talking to APP, Wajid Ali an aspiring student of this Chinese learning programme said “we will try our best to learn Chinese language in two years and pass an exam of Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) Level 5 or 6 as per requirement of this programme”. He resolved that he and his classmates would not breach the trust of the Punjab Government and would serve in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
