SARGODHA, Aug 11 (APP): Faisalabad Electric
Supply Company (FESCO) and Irrigation authorities on
Friday arrested 16 people involved in pilferage and
water theft.
Police said that the FESCO Task Force teams conducted
raids at Chak 43-NB, Chak 51-NB, Block-10, Chak 37-NB,
Chak 53-NB and caught 12 people for pilferage from main
transmission line.
The accused were identified as Moazzam, Aman Ullah,
Nasir Hussain, Khazir Hayat, Aslam, Anwar Ul Haq, Shahzad
and others.
Meanwhile, the teams of Irrigation department conducted
raid at village Chawa and caught four farmers red-handed over
water theft from government canals.
Cases have been registered against the accused.
