SKARDU, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP): At least 33,797 children under five years of
age were administered anti-polio drops during the six days campaign in
the district.
This was told during a special meeting of Polio Eradication Committee
held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Skardu and attended by members of the respective committees, departments and allied organisations here Tuesday.
The meeting expressed satisfaction over the achievements in the special
anti polio campaign and declared it very successful.
It was told that 31 fixed teams were participated in the campaign
besides provision of vaccination services at nine transport points.
