RAWALPINDI, (APP): Cases of 49 ghost employees in the Education
Department are being sent to Anti-corruption department, said Executive District Officer Qazi Zahoor ul Haq.
Talking to APP, the EDO said that 49 ghost employees were enrolled in
the Education Department in different grades and they were detected after
an inquiry. An initial report had been sent to District Coordination Officer (DCO), he added.
When contacted, the DCO office confirmed and said that lists of ghost
employees were being forwarded to Anti-Corruption Department for further proceedings.
