ISLAMABAD, Oct 20 (APP): National ICT Research and Development Fund has imparted training to 49,326 students of under-devloped areas of the country through Prime Minister National ICT Scholarship Programme. This was informed to Senate Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunications which met under the chairmanship of Senator Shahi Syed here. Head of the Fund, Dr. Syed Ismail Shah, who is also Chairman of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) briefed the committee about ongoing projects, achievements, scholarship programmes and budget required for Information and Communication Technology(ICT) R&D Fund.
