4th Islamabad Literary Festival to commence from April 15

ISLAMABAD, (APP): A galaxy of English, Urdu, Punjabi and
Pashto writers will be participating in the fourth Islamabad
Literature Festival (ILF) being organised by the Oxford University
Press (OUP) from April 15.
The festival will be continued for three days at Lok Virsa
(The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage), Islamabad
from April 15 to 17. The festival is packed with sessions on
literature and political issues,book launches. The ILF provides an
opportunity to enthusiasts to interact with writers at the festival.
The Oxford University Press (OUP) is once again gathering avid
readers, writers, academics, and literary figures from across
Pakistan and the world at the Festival.
The main aim of the festival is to promote reading and
showcase writing as its best. The main features of the festival are
talks/interviews, panel discussions, readings, book launches,
Mushaira, author singings, dramatic readings art exhibition,
performing arts, sufi music, book fair and much more.
The OUP’s previous literature festivals have been heralded as
massive successes, attracting a great deal of attention among the
literary and intellectual communities in the country.
In Islamabad last year, literary enthusiasts thronged to the
ILF to meet renowned authors and attend over 60 interactive
sessions.
