MULTAN, Oct 15 (APP): As many as 50 non-perennial canals of Shujabad canal division will be closed from October 17, due to closure period. According to Irrigation sources, 1600 cusec water against the fixed quota of 1980 cusec water for Shujabad canal division was being provided accordingly. Director Regulation Punjab would release the additional water into canals for irrigating the Rabbi crops in December or January 2017.
