SARGODHA, Oct 24 (APP)-Irrigation Task Forces caught fifty seven farmers on the charge of water theft from government canals. Irrigation authorities said the Task Force of Irrigation department under the supervision of Sub-division Canal officer Johrabad along with police party conducted raids in different areas of Sub-Division and caught 57 farmers who were involved in pilferring water from government canals. They included Muhammad Yousaf, Noor Muhammad, Dost Muhammad, Fateh Muhammad, Abdul Khaliq, Ghulam Haider, Omer Draz, Atta Muhammad, Muhammad Akram, Sher Muhammad, Muhammad Shafi, Asmatullah, Muhammad Khan and others. On the report of Irrigation officials police registered separate cases against the accused at respective police stations.
