645 structures damaged in fire incidents in 4 months in IOK

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): At least 645 structures, in
occupied Kashmir, were damaged in mysterious fire incidents during
the past four months of ongoing uprising across the Kashmir
Valley.
According to Kashmir Media Service,the mysterious fire incidents created
panic across Kashmir as all districts were affected by these incidents of fire.
Official data reveals, in October 2016, 242 structures were
damaged in mysterious fire incidents. Structures including houses,
schools, shops and shopping complexes were gutted. Besides these
structures, vehicles and electricity transformers were also burnt.
The fire incidents first occurred in south Kashmir and later
spread to other districts across the territory.
In October, this year, the highest number of mysterious fire
incidents occurred in Kupwara witnessing damage to 47 structures,
followed by Baramulla 38, Islamabad 34, Srinagar 25, Budgam 19,
Shopian 19, Pulwama 18, Ganderbal 17, Kulgam 13 and Bandipora 12.
Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) while expressing its concern
over the rise in mysterious fire incidents in a statement said,
“Not only schools but even shrines and shops are being set ablaze
mysteriously as a part of some deep rooted conspiracy.”
