Advocate Imdad Unar elected President HDBA
HYDERABAD, March 4 (APP): The members of Hyderabad District Bar
Association (HDBA) have elected advocate Imdad Unar as the bar’s
president in the election which was held here on Saturday.
According to the unofficial results, Unar had been elected as
President, advocate Jalal Laghari as Vice President, advocate K B Lutf
Ali Laghari as General Secretary and advocate Kashif Faraz Bhutto as
Joint Secretary.
For the seat of president Advocate Imdad Unar contested against
advocate Basharat Memon while for the position of Vice President
advocates Shabbir Memon and Jalal Laghari were contending.
On the slot of General Secretary, 3 advocates including K B Laghari,
Farhad Abro and Khatri were vying against each other.
A total of 26 candidates contested for the 7 seats of the Managing Committee.
