ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP): Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU)
has extended the last date of admission for its Metric to
postgraduate programs till April 7 on payment of nominal late fee.
It will keep open its 44 regional offices throughout the
country even on Saturday and Sunday to receive the admission forms,
said a news release on Thursday.
Admission are allowed with late fee of Rs 100 for Matric and
Rs 200 for FA/BA while late fee in case of postgraduate program is
Rs 500.
The decision to extend the last date was taken by the Vice
Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui in order to bring maximum
number of people in the educational net, as per the policy of the
government.
It will also facilitate the University’s continuing students
to carry on their future study.
He hoped that the maximum number of people will take benefit
of the extension date. Admissions forms and prospectuses can be
obtained from the University’s main campus, Regional Campuses and
Coordinating Offices.
According to Direction Admission, Syed Ziaul Hasnain, online
admission facility is also available. Further detail of the
admissions has been placed at the University’s website.
