ISLAMABAD, Oct 19 (APP): Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has launched Associate Islamabad Degree in nine skill-based courses enabling its students to earn their livelihood and to take part in the country’s socio-economic development. Acccording to the spokesman of the AIOU on Wednesday, these courses include: Commerce, Tourism Management, Hotel management, Hospital management, IT management, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance, Human Resource management and Marketing management. The last date for admissions in all the academic programs falling in Autumn 2016 semester is Oct. 21. The University has recently launched a number of new programs, aimed at enhancing students’ capacity and professional skill. Besides Matriculation to Ph.D level programs, the University introduced 64 short term skill-development courses.
