PESHAWAR, (APP): Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD)
on Saturday arrested another accused of targeted killing of former
official of an agency on Saturday.
According to police reports, the CTD arrested another accused
in the murder case of former director of an agency, Abdul Latif,
who was shot dead on March 22 in Hayatabad area of Peshawar.
The second alleged target killer, Makail Mehmood, was arrested
from Hayatabad area of Peshawar and the CTD also recovered the
motorcycle, used in attack on the former official.
The accused hails from Akora Khattak area of Nowshera and
belongs to a banned militant group.
It may be mentioned that a few days ago, the CTD had arrested,
the nephew of the slain official, Haris Naseem, code named as Khalid,
from Hayatabad for his alleged role in assassination of the official.
The CTD said the accused had joined a terrorist organization in
2009.
