Another woman killed in Indian troops’ firing in IOK

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The death toll in the ongoing Kashmir Intifada has risen to 48 with the killing of another woman by Indian troops on Tuesday.
According to KMS, the troops fire upon the protesters in Churath area of Qazigund on Monday evening in which two civilians, Showkat Ahmed Yatoo and Sada Bano, were killed on the spot and several others including Neelofar Jaan and her 8-year-old son, Aqib Fayaz, were injured.
Nelofer Jaan, who was shifted to Soura Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar in a critical condition, succumbed to her injuries this morning.
With the death of Nelofar Jaan, the toll in the ongoing Kashmir Intifada has risen to 48. The Intifada was triggered by the extrajudicial killing of top commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, Burhan Muzaffar Wani, on 8th July.
