Army takes over charge of Kacha operation: ISPR

ISLAMABAD (APP): Troops of Pakistan Army on
Saturday took over the charge of operation in ‘Kacha area’
of southern part of Punjab, against anti- social elements.
Director General Inter Services Public Relations
(ISPR) Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa in a Tweet message
on Operation in Kacha, said “Army troops deployed. Take
over charge of operation.”
The cordon in the area has been re-enforced by the
troops as Police and Rangers, already part of operation,
will continue to participate under command of Army
Whatever resources required for the operation, will
be employed to accomplish mission, he said in a firm
tone.
Updated Information about operation will be shared
regularly, he added.
Earlier in the week, Punjab police with the help of
Rangers had launched an operation against notorious gang
of robbers and anti-state elements called ‘Chotu Gang’.
