Authorities impose curfew in Srinagar

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The puppet authorities have imposed curfew
and other restrictions in Held Srinagar to prevent people from offering funeral prayers in absentia of renowned Kashmiri liberation leader, Amanullah Khan.
According to KMS, Amanullah Khan passed away at Rawalpindi in
Pakistan, yesterday, after a protracted illness.
The authorities have deployed Indian troops and police personnel in
strength in Held Srinagar to stop people from reaching the Lal Chowk area of the city where funeral prayers for the deceased are scheduled to be held this afternoon.
All entry points of Lal Chowk have been sealed.
