MIRPUR, (APP): Mirpur authorities have decided to
initiate stringent action against the state-owned land grabbers in Mirpur district, official sources said.
At the first leg of the drive, the public land belonging to the
Irrigation department in the district would be got vacated from the illegal
occupation of the land grabber mafia.
The Decisions was taken in a recent high level meeting of Mirpur
divisional administration.
The meeting decided to remove all encroachments on the state old land
at either side of the canals including those passing through Chachian, Jatlan, Pindi Saberwaal and other adjoining areas with prime focus to restore the green belt and roads on both sides of the canals.
It was told in the meeting that early removal of all encroachments
made by the land grabbers at both sides of the canals has become imperative in order to materialize the already-inked development plan for widening of roads passing through the canals.
