QUETTA, (APP): Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has put Metropolitan Corporation, Provincial Disaster Management Authority and other government departments on high alert to deal with emergency situation caused by heavy rains and other rain related incidents.
He directed to make Flood Control Rooms functional round the clock and resolve complaints immediately lodged in connection with rain related incidents. “Accumulated rainwater on city roads and streets shall be drained out immediately,” he ordered.
He asked Commissioner Quetta to furnish him report on damages caused by heavy rain.
“All divisional commissioners and other government officials will adopt precautionary measures to deal with rain related incidents and they will avail help of Frontier Corps, Police and Levies Force in case of emergency,” he said.
