CM lauds Price Karim Agha Khan services’ for promotion of education, health

GILGIT, (MILLAT ONLINE):Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan, Hafiz
Hafeezur Rehman here Tuesday lauded the services of Prince Karim Khan Agha Khan
for provision of better health and education services to people of Gilgit
Baltistan.
Talking to employees of Afghan Khan Health Centres here, the
Chief Minister said vision of Prince Karim Agha Khan is welfare and betterment
of people and his services for promotion of education and health sector was
praised worthy.
He said concerns of employees regarding closures of Agha
Khan Health Centres would be convened to CEO AKHSP and President Ismaili
National Council for removal of all their grievances.
The CM said work on mega projects in all districts of GB was underway without favoritism
that upon completion would change destiny of people.
With government’s successful policies and reforms, he said,
record development projects were started in the nook and corner of the province
and efforts are being to complete all projects within stipulated time.
He said performance of the government organizations and departments
were significantly improved due to positive reforms of PMLN government and
capacity buildings of employees was also enhanced.
The tender of mega LPG Air Max project was floated that was
a gift of former PM Nawaz Sharif for people of Gilgit Baltistan, he said.
The supremacy of merit and austerity has been ensured and
foundation of the good governance was laid in the province, he said.
A strategy has been prepared for improvement in traffic
system in Gilgit City and a modern traffic course would be conducted in two
weeks with the help of Islamabad Police for new traffic wardens.
The survey for traffic designs of highways has been
completed and hotels and commercial plazas were directed to ensure provision of
the parking facility.
A project for sewerage system in Gilgit has been approved and
treatment plant for sewerage has been inaugurated with the help of NLC and an
international company that would address this problem on permanent basis.
