Community school for girls in Bara lacks building, other facilities

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): Basic education community school in
Bara area of Khyber Agency could not get the official status
despite delivering services for the last 13 years.
Parents of the students were of the view that 130 girls are
getting education in the centre and it is working for the last 13
years, but still it has no proper building or regular staff,
reported a private news channel.
A local elder Orangazeb said there is no other girls’
school in the area.
He said several applications have been sent to the government for
construction of the centre’s building, but in vain.
“About 150 girls are getting education here but there is no
proper building and all of them sit in a single hall like a cattle
herd. There is no toilet or other facility for the students,” he
said.
Education Department officials said the building of the
school will be constructed after its inclusion in the annual
development programme.
While, Another such school in Ayub Killi area of Dogra has
not been included in the annual development programme yet.
