Continued house arrest of Gilani, Shabbir denounced

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The All Parties Hurriyet Conference
(APHC) Saturday strongly condemned the continued house arrest of
its Chairman Syed Ali Gilani and General Secretary Shabbir Ahmed
Shah in Srinagar Indian Held Kashmir (IHK).
APHC spokesman, Ayaz Akbar, in a statement issued in Srinagar,
said that Syed Ali Gilani was stopped from his important religious obligation of offering Juma prayers, on the 10th consecutive Friday
in 2016, KMS reported.
He said that the puppet Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, had
adopted the same policies against the APHC Chairman which her late
father, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed, and the leader of pro-India National Conference, Omar Abdullah, had followed so far.
He said, Syed Ali Gilani continues to remain under detention
without any legal or constitutional justifications. “This process
was started in 2010 and it continues from the last 6 years,” he
pointed out.
The spokesman also criticized the puppet administration for the
continued house arrest of Shabbir Ahmed Shah and said that he was
being subjected to political vengeance ever since he joined the APHC
and his activities had been completely banned.
