Continued house arrest of Hurriyat leaders condemned

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):The Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) in Indian occupied Kashmir has condemned the continued house arrest of Hurriyat leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Javaid Ahmed Mir and party Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt.
According to Kashmir Media Service the JKSM in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the leaders were not even allowed to perform their religious obligations like offering Juma prayers.
A JKSM delegation comprising Adnan Salfi, Ishaq Ahmed and Manzoor Ahmed visited Bijbehara and Arwani and condoled the demise of Ghulam Hassan Wani, father of Hurriyat activist, Firdous Ahmed, and mother of martyred Muhammad Ismail.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat leader, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi in a statement in Srinagar also condemned the detention and house arrest of Hurriyat leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Javaid Ahmed Mir, Bilal Siddiqui, Zafar Akbar Butt, Javaid Ghazi Baba, Molvi Bashir and Umar Aadil Dar.
A Hurriyat delegation led by Imtiyaz Ahmed Reshi visited Safa Kadal area of Srinagar and condoled the sad demise of the cousin of Hurriyat leader, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash.
