Continued illegal house detention of Gilani condemned

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): All Parties Hurriyet Conference
(APHC) has strongly condemned the continued house detention of its
Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, describing it as the frustration of the
puppet authorities and the worst kind of human rights violation.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman in a
statement issued in Srinagar denounced the authorities for not
allowing Syed Ali Gilani to offer Juma prayers and termed the
action as interference in his religious affairs.
He said, “Debarring a Muslim and a beloved leader of
suppressed masses from offering Friday prayers is the outcome of
the fascist mindset which legalizes and justifies such actions.
Locking down of Jamia Masjid and other religious places for months
together speaks volumes of the practical measures being taken to
implement the agenda of Hindu Rashtra for which coalition has come
into existence.”
