KARACHI, Oct 22 (APP): The prestigious American College of Surgeons has conferred honorary fellowship to Dr Adib Rizvi of Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) for his distinguished services in the field of surgical sciences, public services and for pioneering the transplant movement in the country. An official of the Institute said here on Saturday that the honorary fellowship was conferred to Dr Rizvi at the annual congress of the College held at Washington DC, according to information reached here. He said that this year honorary fellowship was awarded to five eminent surgeons hailing from various parts of the world who have made extra ordinary contributions in their respective branches of surgery. The globally renowned surgeons who received fellowship were from Australia, Colombia, France and Japan besides Dr Rizvi of Pakistan who earned the singular honor for his country.
