Gilani denounces imposition of curbs in Srinagar

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat
Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has condemned curfew and other restrictions
imposed by Indian authorities in Held Srinagar to prevent people from offering funeral in absentia of Kashmiri leader, Amanullah Khan.
Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the
restrictions as the worst example of state terrorism and intervention in
religious affairs. He said every civil society gives respect to the deceased
no matter to which school of thought he belongs,reported KMS.
Meanwhile, Syed Ali Gilani condemned in strong words once again the
invoking of draconian Public Safety Act against detained Tehreek-e-Hurriyat
Islamabad President Mir Hafizullah.
He demanded immediate release of Mir
Hafizullah and other illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists.
