Gost-Employees Online vigilance system removes gost employees from education, health depts

RAWALPINDI, March 3 (APP): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rawalpindi Talat
Mehmood Gondal Friday said the online vigilance system had amost removed the gost employees from Education and Health and Population Welfare departments.
He was addressing a ceremony held here at DC office in connection with
handing over tablets to Monitoring & Evaluation Assistants (MEAs).
The DC said performance of government departments had improved
considerably after evolving effective monitoring system in the province under the initiatives of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
He appreciated the dedicated spirit of MEAs which had played a pivotal
role to ensure uninterrupted health, education and population welfare services to the citizens.
He said these important segments of social sector had great importance
for mitigating the sufferings of the common man and it was endeavor of government to focus on the provision of quality services in rural and urban areas.
President Pakistan Green Task Force Dr Jamal Nasir also handed over
tablets to 35 MEAs of Education Department on this occasion.
Dr Jamal Nasir lauded the contribution of the district monitoring field
staff and termed monitoring system an effective tool to ensure transparency in utilization of government facilities in its true perspective.
He also appreciated the provision of necessary facilities by the
government to the monitoring staff which had enabled them to perform their functions efficiently.
