Governor for further strengthening of Pak-Iran relationship

KARACHI, (MILLAT ONLINE):Governor of Sindh, Muhammad Zubair here
on Friday said people of Pakistan and Iran are closely linked to
each other through centuries old relationship based on common
religious beliefs and cultural norms.
According to a Sindh Governor House spokesman Ambassador of Iran,
Mehdi Honardoost, who called on the Governor Muhammad Zubair this
afternoon was also invited to help strengthen economic relationship
between the two neighboring countries.
“Geographical proximity between the two countries continue to
expand series of fresh and steady vistas of cooperation, mutually
beneficial for the two people,” Sindh Governor was quoted to have
said.
Ambassador Honardoost, accompanied by Iran Consul General to
Karachi, Ahmad Mohammadi, was also invited to make optimum of
tremendous investment opportunities emerging fast in Karachi.
Karachi, he said is the economic hub of Pakistan and restoration
of peace here has revived the potential it holds as a a major port
city in the region.
Sindh Governor said financiers from Iran can invest in
infrastructure development, education, health and other relevant
sectors.
Reiterating that the two nations cherished the deep rooted and
traditional relationship, he said emerging global situation demanded
this to be further streamlined for well being of the masses belonging
to the two countries.
