LAHORE, Oct 24 (APP): Rice growers have been advised to take timely measures to protect their crop from an attack of insects. A spokesman for the Punjab Agriculture Department said on Monday, that stem worm and leaffolder were among those insects which adversely affect the crop. “Stem worm usually attack on Basmati varieties whereas leaffolder attack on IRRI and Basmati varieties,” he added.
