ISLAMABAD, (APP): All Parties Hurriyet Conference in Indian
occupied Kashmir has expressed grave concern over the arrest and harassment of Kashmiri students in different states of India.
The APHC in a statement issued in Held Srinagar said that such
undemocratic and immoral tactics were meant to destroy the educational career of the Kashmiri students, KMS reported.
The statement said that it was the responsibility of the Indian
government to protect the Kashmiri students from the attacks by goons of Hindu extremist organisations.
The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik
has also condemned the slapping of draconian Public Safety Act on teenage boys in the occupied territory.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali
Gilani has been formally invited by the Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, Iyad Ameen Madani, to attend the 13th Summit of the OIC to be held in Istanbul from April 10.
However, the APHC spokesman in a separate statement said that Syed Ali
Gilani would not be able to attend the summit due to lack of travel documents.
Hurriyet leaders Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Bilal Siddiqui, Hakeem Abdur
Rasheed, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Zafar Akbar Butt and Muhammad Musaddiq Aadil in
their addresses and statements urged the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation
to play its role in settlement of the Kashmir dispute.

meanwhile visited APHC Secretary General, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, at Rajbagh Sub Jail in Held Srinagar on Wednesday and inquired about his health.Senior Hurriyet leader, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi and Muhammad Ramazan Khan in their statements said that Indian authorities were trying in vain to weaken Shabbir Shah’s commitment to the Kashmir cause by placing him under continued illegal detention.
