KARACHI, March 3 (APP): The hospitals, maternity homes,
dispensaries and basic health units under the administrative control
of the District Municipal Corporation (DMC) Karachi East are being
renovated and activated.
This was stated by the Chairman of the DMC East, Syed Nayyer
Raza, on Friday.
He made these remarks during a visit to the Saudabad, Malir
dispensary where he inspected the repair and renovation work being
carried out under the 100-day Tameer-i-Karachi Programme.
Nayyer was of the view that the initiative has been launched to
provide basis facilities at their door steps.
He said that availability of medical facilities and medicines at
hospitals and dispensaries is also being ensured.
The repair and renovation of family parks and play grounds is also
underway, he added.
