Hurriyat leaders condemn civilian killings in IoK

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): Various separatist leaders and
organizations have condemned the civilian killings during protests
amidst gunfight between armed forces and militants today at
Padgampora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin
Malik, while condemning the killing, said, “Innocent youth Aamir
Nazir and Jalal-ud-Din were killed at Padgampora by the Indian
forces in Indian occupied Kashmir.
While on daily basis our young boys who have been pushed
to the wall by police and forces embrace martyrdom, our children
are also being targeted by Indians with impunity,” Kashmir media Service (KMS) reported.
Paying rich tributes to the youth, “Police and army by
killing a 15 year old innocent Aamir and another youth Jalal-ud-
Din with impunity have actually translated Indian army chiefs’
threat into action which is highly condemnable.”
Expressing shock and anguish over the killing of a 9th class
student at Padgampora, at the hands of armed forces, the senior
Hurriyat Conference (G) leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front
chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan today said, “The killing two civilians
and injuries many others are the result of the irresponsible
statement of the Indian army chief wherein he had clearly called
upon forces to kill whosoever tried to raise his voice.”
Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (HCBA), while
condemning the killings, appealed to the international community
to take cognizance of the `brutalities’ being inflicted by the
armed forces on unarmed and inoffensive civilians.
Paying glowing tributes to the militants and two youth slain
by the forces at Padamgampora, the Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM)
chairperson Syeda Aasiya Andrabi, in a statement today, said,
“the political, armed and the social leadership of Kashmir to
identify the causes that are leading to the recurrent gunfights
and martyrdom of militants in Indian occupied Kashmir.”
Paying rich tributes to the slain youth, the president
Anjuman Shari Shian Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi strongly
condemned the killing Amir Nazir and Jallaluddin. Hurriyat
Conference Jammu Kashmir (HCJK) leaders Shabir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad
Iqbal Mir, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and G H Nabi War, in their joint
statement, strongly condemned the killing of two civilian and
injuries to several others at Padgampora.

action against the accused forces and urge international human
rights groups to take note of human rights violation in Indian occupied Kashmir.”
