Hyderabad Police arrests two suspects in injured condition

HYDERABAD, October 22, (APP): The Hyderabad police have arrested two suspects in injured condition after an exchange of fire between the suspects and the police near Cantonment graveyard. The police spokesman Mazhar Shani identified the arrested suspects as Munawar Ali Awan and Kashif Qureshi, both of whom sustained gunshots in their legs and were shifted to Liaquat University Hospital. The spokesman maintained that the Makki Shah police stopped three persons riding a motorbike at a snap checking spot but the suspects tried to escape while allegedly firing gunshots on the police. Two of them sustained gunshots in the exchange of fire and fell from the motorbike while the third suspect escaped, he added. The spokesman informed that Awan was nominated in seven crime FIRs at G.O.R, Hali Road, Hussainabad and Bhitai Nagar police stations and Qureshi in 4 FIRs at Fort and A-Section police stations.He said their gang was involved in dozens of heinous crimes.
