HYDERABAD, October 22, (APP): The Bhitai Nagar police have transferred the case of creating fake identities on the social media to defame some girls of Hyderabad and an arrested suspect to the Cyber Crime Cell in Karachi. The police spokesman informed that on the Court’s order the case was transferred to the cell of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). According to the spokesman, the complainant Ali Muhammad Dawach who was a resident of Citizen Colony had complained that some miscreants had formed accounts on the name of his 2 daughters and a niece on the Facebook. He added that the miscreants were sharing personal information and photographs of the girls on the Facebook while also circulating the photographs through another internet application, Whatsapp. The spokesman said the police earlier identified 3 suspects with the help of Citizen Police Liaison Committee and one of them, Mukhtiar Ali Lashari, was also arrested.
