India has converted Kashmir into killing field: TeH leaders
ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir leaders in Indian occupied Kashmir, have said that India has converted Jammu and Kashmir into a killing field.
According to Kahsmir Media Service(KMS), Tehreek-e-Hurriyat in a statement issued in Srinagar said that a party delegation led by Bashir Ahmad Qureshi and Shah Wali Muhammad participated in the funerals of two martyred youth in Sopore and Pattan areas of Baramulla district.
The youth, Ashiq Hussain Butt and Tayyeb Majeed Mir were killed by Indian troops during a fake encounter in Handwara area of Kupwara district on Monday.
Addressing mourners on the occasion, the TeH leaders said that India had failed to intimidate the people of Jammu and Kashmir into submission despite use of brute force, torture, arrests and barbaric means. The other members of the delegation were Shakir Ahmad Mir and Bilal Ahmad.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement in a statement strongly condemned the arrest of its leader, Hilal Ahmed Beig and his shifting to Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu. The JKSM said that black law, Public Safety Act, was invoked against Beig to scare other Muslim youth from Jammu region and give up their affiliation with the ongoing freedom movement.
On the other hand, Hizbul Mujhadeen Chief, Syed Salahuddin, in a statement while paying rich tributes to the Kashmiri youth recently killed by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir said that the freedom struggle would continue till it reached its logical conclusion.
The youth, Ashiq Ahmed Butt and Tayyeb Majeed were killed in Handwara on Monday while Showkat Ahmed Dar at Nowbug Kund in Kulgam on Tuesday.
