Indian aggression at LoC being strongly retaliated: Senate told

ISALAMABD, (MILLAT+APP): Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir Khan Friday apprised the Senate that our armed forces were retaliating strongly and promptly to the Indian aggression at Line of Control (LoC).
Responding to a Calling Attention notice raised by Saleem Mandviwalla
about carrying out the Indo-Pak trade despite repeated violations of ceasefire by the Indian forces at LoC, he said Indo-Pak trade volume was $ 2.083 and using trade restriction as retaliation with India would not be effective at the moment.
The minister said stoppage of trade would have no impact on Indian
economy as it was only 0.8 per cent of her total world export.
He said that India export to Pakistan was $1.78 billion last year
against Pakistan’s export to India of $ 3.02 million. He said Indo-Pak trade would be reviewed if needed.
