Indian Republic Day brings miseries to IOK people

ISLAMABAD, MILLAT+(APP): Indian forces in occupied Kashmir
have stepped up frisking and searching across the territory ahead
of January 26, the Indian Republic Day, causing huge inconvenience
to the people.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the puppet authorities
have beefed up the so-called security in the name of maintaining
law and order.
One of the top police officials on the condition of
anonymity told media that stringent arrangements would be put in
place in occupied Kashmir ahead of the 26th January functions. He
said that police had set up checkpoints on the entry and exit
points of Srinagar and were maintaining strict checking of
people.
The official said that police and paramilitary personnel
have been deployed all across the city and the movement of people
was being monitored through the Close Circuit Television Cameras
(CCTVs) installed at various places.
Meanwhile, Indian police personnel are caring out surprise
checking of the vehicles on the entry and exit points of Srinagar.
Police said that similar arrangements had been made in other
districts of the Valley also.
Police and paramilitary personnel can be seen carrying out
searches of all the passenger and private vehicles on various
roads and highways.
Indian troops and policemen have been deployed in strength
in all major towns of the occupied territory.
On the other hand, the security at Maulana Azad Stadium in
Jammu, the main venue for the 26th January function, is being
reviewed and enhanced on daily basis.
Heavy deployment of policemen is being made at MA Stadium,
Raghunath Temple, railway station, bus stand, Bahu Fort, Airport
and at other vital areas.
