Indian troops launch search operations in IOK
ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):People staged forceful demonstrations at Devsar in Kulgam district after the Indian troops cordoned off the area and launched search operation.
Locals told media that the troops launched search operation at Astan Mohalla in Devsar. As the troops were laying the siege, scores of people came out and pelted them with stones, they said, KMS reported.
The people said that the troops fired teargas shells to disperse the protesters, who offered stiff resistance.
Clashes erupted between the protesters and the Indian troops after a siege and search operation was launched in Pakherpora area of Badgam district.
Meanwhile, the troops also conducted siege and search operations in several villages of Tral in Pulwama district. The troops cordoned off several villages and carry out house-to-house searches, causing huge inconvenience to the people.
