IoK authorities using students to exhibit normalcy: DeM

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): Dukhtaran-e-Millat Jammu and
Kashmir (DeM) has said that the authorities are using students to
exhibit normalcy.
According to KMS, the DeM Secretary General, Nahida Nasreen in a
statement issued in Srinagar said the forthcomings exams of class 10th and
12th do not appear to be exams rather a war between students and
police.
She said the meeting in police control room between police
officials and Board of School Education officers, gives an
impression among students that they have to fight a war rather
than appear in exams. The parents of the students are equally
apprehensive about the authorities’ move, she added.
She said, “In order to exhibit normalcy, so-called rulers
have enacted the drama of exams. Under the prevailing
circumstances, no sane person can even think of conducting exams,
but since the puppet regime has failed on every front, they have
resorted to cheap tactics and have, therefore, started conducting
exams. They have used children as shield to exhibit normalcy.”
“A police official has suggested that the students should be
accompanied by their parents on the first day of their
examination. I ask him, what about those students whose parents
have been killed. What about those students whose parents are
languishing in jails under draconian Public Safety Act (PSA)? What
about those whose elders have been maimed, blinded and injured by
the puppet forces?” she asked.
