IOK Civil Secretariat employees decide to boycott office

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The Civil Secretariat employees in
occupied Kashmir have decided to boycott office as security of
lives was first priority in the prevailing circumstances.
The employees also staged a protest against what they termed
as callous approach of the puppet administration, KMS reported.
The protesting employees said that they were being forced to
attend their duties in a situation when an employee was hardly
able to move out from his house.
The Chairman of Secretariat Employees Coordination
Committee, Ghulam Rasool Mir, along with President of Lower Grade
Employees Union, Maqbool Hussain, addressing the employees said
that it had been unanimously decided that no employee of the Civil
Secretariat, either from occupied Kashmir, Jammu or Ladakh shall
attend the office in view of prevailing situation.
The protesters said that security to their lives was first
priority and that they could not take risk and put their lives in
danger.
It is to mention here that the puppet authorities continue
to impose curfew and other restrictions in the occupied Kashmir
since July 9, a day after the extrajudicial murder of top freedom
fighter, Burhan Muzaffar Wani.
