IRSA releases 377,123 cusecs water from various rim stations

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The Indus River System Authority (IRSA)
Thursday released 377,123 cusecs water from various rim stations with
inflow of 484,101 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River
at Tarbela Dam was 1494.15 feet, which was 114.15 feet higher than its dead
level 1380 feet.
Water inflow in the dam was recorded at 265,900 cusecs while outflow
was recorded as 180,000 cusecs.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1214.00 feet,
which was 174.00 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 62,951 and 41,873 cusecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as
270,381, 264,111 and 142,852 cusecs respectively.
Similarly, from the Kabul River, a total of 82,900 cusecs of water was
released at Nowshera and 72,550 cusecs released from the Chenab River at Marala.
