Javaid Mir, others visit pellet victims at Srinagar hospital

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): A delegation comprising Hurriyet
leader, Javaid Ahmad Mir, Yaar Muhammad Khan and Feroz Sarfaz,
today, visited the SMHS Hospital in Srinagar to enquire about the
well-being of several pellet victims admitted there.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation on the occasion
interacted with the pellet victims who lost their eyesight after forces used deadly pellet fires to disperse the protestors held in nook and corner of the Valley during last four and months.
Javaid Ahmad Mir on the occasion said, “We can’t leave them
on the mercy of the puppet regime, adding, responsibility lies
upon the Kashmiri people to look after the pellet victims who
presented their vision for our better political future.”
He said need of the hour is to provide them moral and
financial support.
Javaid Ahmad Mir appealed to Human Rights Watch, UNHRC, NHRC
and Amnesty International to stop India to end use of pellet guns
against peaceful protesters.
Meanwhile, Hurriyet leader, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash in his
statement issued in Srinagar expressed grief over the sad demise
of the father of Jamat-e-Islami spokesman, Advocate Zahid Ali.
Paying tributes to the deceased, Naqash prayed for highest
places in Jannah for him and strength for the bereaved family to
bear the irreparable loss.
