ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir
Liberation Front (JKLF), advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, in occupied
Kashmir, has paid tributes to martyrs, Advocate Jalil Andrabi,
Ishfaq Majeed Wani, Shabbir Ahmad Siddqui and Dr Abdul Ahad Guru.
According to Kashmir Media Service, advocate Bashir Ahmad
Butt addressing a condolence meeting in Srinagar said that the
struggle and sacrifice given by the people of Kashmir would never
be forgotten.
Terming Indian elections as detrimental to sacred cause of
Kashmiris, he said, “We are duty-bound to safeguard our sacrifices
and continue the struggle for freedom that has been nourished by
the sacred blood of our martyrs.”
Various congregational prayer meetings were held across
valley today in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of
advocate Jalil Andrabi. Quran Khawani was held at JKLF headquarter
and other JKLF district offices in this connection. JKLF leaders,
activists and admirers of martyrs in large number participated in
the prayers meetings.
