LAHORE, (APP): Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan on Tuesday
took oath as a judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali administered the oath
of office to Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan at a ceremony held here
at the Supreme Court Lahore Registry.
The oath taking ceremony was attended by judges of the
Supreme Court including Justice Amir Hani Muslim, Justice
Iqbal Hameedur Rahman, Justice Umar Ata Bandial, Justice
Manzoor Ahmad Malik and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain as well
as Attorney General for Pakistan Ashtar Ausaf, representatives
of the bars, law officers and senior lawyers.
Arbab Muhammad Arif, Registrar Supreme Court, conducted
the proceedings of oath taking ceremony. Officers and staff
of the Supreme Court were also present on the occasion.
